Studio 212 is 35 minutes southeast of central Portland, Oregon. Nestled in the countryside of Clackamas county, the studio sits on Dave's property complete with rolling hills and a barn housing his 2 horses.
The studio is a perfect getaway from the city and provides a calming backdrop where artists can create without distraction. While taking a break from recording, guests can take a walk in the nearby woods to get "away from it all".
The studio was built in one of the 3 structures that came with the property. "It used to be a one room cement floored shop where the previous owner did taxidermy" says Dave. "I thought that in and of itself was rather interesting but it did provide quite a challenge in trying to retrofit this building into a studio", continues Dave.

The structure was gutted and rebuilt internally including electrical to power a recording studio. "I've been in a lot of studios and I knew what I wanted to have personally and I think this is getting very close to that.", says Dave.
Inside of the studio, clients will find comfortable ammenities and a casual environment that allows them to focus on recording and nothing else. "That's the goal, to provide a place where you can escape to get inside of your art and just focus on that and nothiong else." says Dave.
